It’s been a pretty busy year.

My first issue as Creative Director for Rodeo Magazine came out, with a custom script created by Göran Söderström. I designed Dialogue for Iaspis/Axl Books; Bergman’s Video with Göran Hugo Olsson for Swedish Television; A new website [and other stuff] for Liselotte Watkins with AGoodId; Yoko Ono and Wolfgang Tillmans for Moderna Museet; Curtain Callers and Contemporary Swedish Photography for Art & Theory, and two new Clarice Lispector titles for Tranan Books. There were also lectures at FIT and Hyper Island and a workshop at Beckmans.

I never got around to finalizing and launching my new website, but you can see some recent work on Behance and follow work in progress on Flickr.

Waiting for the moment to announce that I’ve been given the best job ever.

Meanwhile I’m putting the final touches to the next version of this website with Mats, and with beautiful photography by Helena Karlsson. Also designing folder for Yoko Ono at Moderna Museet and a ton of other stuff.

Other projects this spring include a new book with artist Ann-Sofi Sidén. We’re also busy with a complete reconstruction and redesign of this website with our friends at AGoodId.

The exhibition Helvete (Hell), with artists such as Glenn Brown, Dick Bengtsson, Jenny Holzer and Francisco de Goya is currently on view at Liljevalchs Art Gallery in Stockholm. The catalogue, along with posters, invite, banner, tote bags and a teaser film was designed by the studio. See more pix in this Flickr set.

The book that the studio designed for the Royal Armoury in Stockholm earlier this year, for their vintage fashion exhibition, has become an iPad app. Created by Anna Tribelhorn with Stefania, the app is the first to be launched by a Swedish museum.

Venice Biennale 2011 bookshop right now: The Philippe Parreno book we designed for CCS Bard a year ago (photographed by Ulrika Hellberg, former designer at the studio gone Milanese).

Last week I stumbled upon the Keren Cytter book we designed for Moderna Museet / Sternberg Press in the bookshop at Whitney Museum.

New art projects this spring includes a publication for Iaspis - a loosely based follow-up to Voice Over from 2009 - and a catalogue for the group exhibition Helvete, with Glenn Brown, Francisco Goya, Cindy Sherman, Sun Xun and more at Liljevalchs Art Gallery in Stockholm. 

The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975, with art direction and graphics by the studio, won the World Cinema Documentary Editing Award at the Sundance Film Festival. It has also been shown at the Berlinale, Berlin and in New York as part of the New Directors New Film festival. 

Stefania Malmsten is back in New York, working from the collaborative workspace Studiomates in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975, directed by Göran Hugo Olsson, produced by Story, with art direction and graphics by the studio is having it's premiere in a few hours at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah.
